Working on my Lathe

My lathe is a powerful Record CL4 Variable Speed with 1HP (746watts) motor. It is capable of handling pieces of timber from the size of a pencil, all the way up to a large table top!

Video

here is a video of myself working on the lathe, turning a fresh block of timber and do a rough cut to initially turn it round. Turning wood is a lengthy process that requires patience and skill so the video has sections where it have been speeded up, otherwise you could be watching me for ages!
